GHOST FURNITURE is a furniture commision for the Baltic Triennal 13 titled “Give up the ghost”.
The 5 meters long GHOST TABLE, used to show catalogues, works as a material index, as well as a artists index, each one in its own room. The reflections of the vertical divisions make the whole piece disappear from far distance, and enlarges it endlessly when a material or an artist is confronted. Only the honeycomb cupboard section, usually used in door infilling, help us to understand its geometry. Its dimensions only allow a one-to-one interaction, between material and artist, as well as between user and space.
